President

Greetings, Precious Jewel of God! On behalf of the Unitech Adventist Tertiary Students Association (Unitech ATSA), I extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to you in the love and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. By God’s providence, you’ve been led to this official website—where faith meets academia, and where the light of Christ shines brightly through the lives of young, dedicated students. As a subsidiary of the Papua New Guinea Adventist Tertiary Students Association (PNG ATSA) and a ministry under the Public Campus Ministry (PCM) division of the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Unitech ATSA exists to serve not only the students of the Papua New Guinea University of Technology but also the broader community. Our mission is clear: to nurture spiritual, physical, emotional, and intellectual growth, creating a sense of belonging within a secular institution.
Through carefully planned activities, we aim to achieve holistic human development. Our initiatives include:
Spiritual Outreach: Hospital and prison visitations, branch Sabbath Schools, and sharing the light of God's Word through Sabbath morning worship with non-Adventists.
Community Engagement: Visits to disability homes, schools, and other centers to share love and hope.
Fellowship & Growth: Fundraising, social games, and community service projects that build leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
We believe that by creating opportunities for service and fellowship, Unitech ATSA can ignite a passion for the Gospel in the hearts of students—preparing them not only for their professional futures but, more importantly, for Christ’s soon return.A special acknowledgment goes to our beloved church parents and families. Your unwavering support, encouragement, and prayers are invaluable in guiding and uplifting our students.
You are the backbone of this ministry, nurturing both the spiritual and professional growth of the next generation. I am also blessed to lead alongside a strong and vibrant team for Jesus this year. With their dedication and commitment, we strive to carry out the mission entrusted to us with joy and humility, ensuring that every initiative aligns with God’s purpose for His people.
Thank you for visiting our website. May you find inspiration, encouragement, and a sense of belonging as you explore what Unitech ATSA is doing for the salvation of God’s people. As we journey together, may you continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ until He comes again.

Spiritual Leader

Greetings to you all in the name of our soon-coming Savior, Jesus Christ. Welcome to the Spiritual Department of the Unitech Adventist Tertiary Students Association (ATSA). The Spiritual Department of Unitech ATSA is dedicated to nurturing the spiritual growth and well-being of Adventist students at the Papua New Guinea University of Technology. Our mission is to encourage and support students in maintaining a strong and vibrant relationship with God as they navigate their academic journey.
The Spiritual Department seeks to provide spiritual nourishment through daily Bible study, prayer, and other spiritual activities that foster a deeper connection with our Creator. We are committed to helping students grow in their faith, stay grounded in God’s Word, and actively engage in His mission both on and off campus.

Key activities of the Unitech ATSA Spiritual Department include:

Bible Study: The Spiritual Department encourages Adventist students to engage deeply with the Scriptures, guiding them to not only study the Word but also share it with others. We believe that studying the Bible strengthens students’ spiritual integrity and equips them to live out their faith in their academic and personal lives.
Prayer: Every Sunday morning, the Spiritual Department organizes group prayer sessions, where Adventist students come together to communicate with God through prayer and supplication. These sessions help students build a consistent prayer life, strengthen their bond with God, and foster a spirit of unity among like-minded believers.
Branch Sabbath School Program: Each Sabbath morning, the Spiritual Department coordinates Branch Sabbath School sessions where Adventist students share God’s love and experiences with their peers in dormitories. Through Bible stories, songs, and fellowship, students are encouraged to stand firm in their faith while also helping others experience the love of Christ. This program serves as a refreshing spiritual revival after a week of academic challenges.
Outreach Programs: The Spiritual Department also facilitates outreach initiatives, encouraging students to extend God’s love to the surrounding community. Through these programs, students are given opportunities to share their faith, assist those in need, and actively participate in spreading the Gospel message.
In addition to these activities, the Spiritual Department plays a vital role in organizing and supporting other spiritual programs within the church and school community. Our goal is to provide a nurturing spiritual environment where students can grow in their faith, share the love of God, and be a light in the world around them.
We are here to help each other support our spiritual journey, helping ourselves to stay connected to God and remain steadfast in our commitment to His mission, even as we pursue our studies. May we experience spiritual growth, peace, and joy as we walk with God throughout our academic journey.

Secretary

The Unitech Adventist Tertiary Students Association (UATSA) secretary is responsible for organizing meetings, recording minutes, and handling official correspondence. This role requires effective communication, time management, and attention to detail to ensure smooth operations within the association.
As secretary, I interact with both students and professionals, learning to navigate different perspectives diplomatically and professionally. The position enhances my leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills, preparing me for future responsibilities.
Though demanding, the experience is worth it as it teaches me valuable skills in professionalism and diplomacy.

"There is nothing better than glorifying God through sweet and melodious choir music. As the choir master, it is my great joy to introduce the Choir Department of the Unitech Adventist Student Association (Unitech ASA) and share our vision for 2025. Like other departments, the choir plays a crucial role in enabling the functioning of the Unitech ASA body. We support every department’s program, especially spiritual ones, through the power of song."
"This year, we aim to elevate our choir participation, enhance our melodious singing, and learn new songs. Our mission is to witness the love of God through singing and, most importantly, to revive the cherished spirit of choir. The Choir Department is composed of all Unitech ASA members and its sub-associations. However, we warmly welcome any student or non-Adventist who wishes to join our team. Thank you for stopping by."
"On behalf of the Choir Department, I wish you a year full of blessings and God's protection. If you are interested in joining us, please don't hesitate to come to our practice sessions and click the link to join the Unitech ASA WhatsApp group.”
